Online safety

Alannah and Madeline Foundation

The foundation aims to support children impacted by violence, reduce bullying and cyber risks, and advocate for child safety. It operates programs in one-third of Australian schools, most public libraries, and assists 10,000 children in refuges or foster homes annually. Since 1997, it has reached over 2 million children and families. Established in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, tragically lost in the 1996 Port Arthur tragedy, the foundation has been active for nearly 20 years.
