Supporting and celebrating our local youth performers Since 2011, Loud @ the Library has been a launchpad for many young artists. Past performers have gone on to achieve success in the music and entertainment industry, including:

  • William Alexander – Made his debut at Loud @ the Library and is now pursuing a music career. He won the 2025 Thornton Young Award and his album 'The Singing Stockman' was recently nominated for two Golden Guitar Awards this year: Traditional Country Album of the Year and Toyota Album of the Year.
  • Sophie Kelly – Discovered by Triple J’s Unearthed.
  • Emma Kelly – Performed in Guys and Dolls with Bendigo Theatre Company.
  • Lachie Dunn – Member of Among the Restless, nominated for the Amplify Award at the 2024 Music Victoria Awards.
  • Shannon Bishop and Callum McNab - Members of the Melbourne based alt-pop punk band, Ivy Black.

This event is all about giving young people a chance to step up, have fun, and gain confidence. Whether you're performing or cheering from the crowd, you're part of something special!
