It’s easy! If you are ages 5 -18, follow the steps below to read your way through the school holidays and win great prizes!

1. REGISTER
   Register at Swan Hill Library or on our outreach vehicle, ‘Libby’, to get your BIG Summer Read reading log or starter pack.
   OR download the reading log here(PDF, 2MB) and start reading straight away.
   
   
2. GET READING
   Read 10 books OR read for 5 hours (in 30-minute sessions). 
   
   
3. ENTER THE MAJOR PRIZE DRAW
   Return your completed reading log to the library, or Libby, by Saturday, 31 January 2026.
   
   
4. CELEBRATE
   Join us for the exciting Major Prize Draw on Friday, 6 February 2026!
