Join us for a compelling evening with acclaimed Australian author Mark Smith, as he discusses his gripping new adult psychological thriller, Three Boys Gone.

The novel follows Grace Disher, a high school teacher faced with an impossible choice. When three of her students are caught in perilous surf, Grace knows that diving in to save them would almost certainly cost her own life. She chooses not to act. But can she live with that decision? And should she have given her life?

Mark is the author of four celebrated young adult novels. The Road to Winter was shortlisted for multiple awards and is studied in schools across Australia, while its sequel, Wilder Country, won the 2018 Australian Indie Book Award for Young Adult Fiction. Also an award-winning writer of short fiction, Mark’s work has appeared in leading publications in Australia and internationally.
