The Swan Hill Regional Library is offering free sessions for anyone who needs assistance with navigating the world of technology.
Lessons are one-on-one with library staff and open to all ages.
Cultural Development and Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the sessions were perfect for anyone wanting to learn new skills or just in need of a refresher.
“We now live in a very digital centric world,” Ms Cullinan said.
“Everything from staying in touch with family and friends to banking and paying bills, it’s all online. So we want to make sure our community, particularly our older residents, have the tools and skills they need to confidently and safely navigate this territory.”
Some of the topics lessons will cover include:
- Using a smartphone or tablet
- Setting up and using an email account
- Setting up and using a MyGov account
- Using social media e.g. Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat
- Filling out online forms
- Any other general help you may need
For more information, or to book a lesson, contact the library on 5036 2480.
