The Stars at Oktober Bend is a brilliantly written book by Glenda Millard; I could read this book a thousand times over. Glenda Millard has amazingly written a novel through the eyes of a young girl finding her way through life with brain damage, which has left her with a struggle to talk. In the beginning the book is a bit confusing to follow and understand, but as you go on all the little details slot into place, making it a wonderful read. I highly recommend it.
