I absolutely loved reading Jasper Jones and I would read it a thousand times over. This novel is so brilliantly written by Craig Silvey, it draws you in from start to finish, making you not want to put it down, I’ve even put off watching the movie worried that it will ruin the book; if that’s even possible. Jasper Jones has an element of mystery, love and sadness all mixed into one, making it absolutely brilliant and leaving you feeling all the emotions in the world. The book follows the life of young Charlie Bucktin, one night, Jasper Jones, the local boy that everyone blames for everything knocks on his window asking him for a favour. That one favour on that hot summer night is now with those two boys for the rest of their lives no matter what they do. I recommend this amazing novel to anybody and everybody, as long as you aren’t under the age of 12.
